The Hydropolis: Dubai’s Underwater Hotel
The hotel is open in 2009. It is really amazing with 220 bubble-shaped suites. Covering an area of 260 hectares,costed only $490 million and sits approximately 60 feet underwater. Would you pay $5.500 per night and be paranoid about drowning or something goes wrong? I wouldn't.

You don't want to pay for the app? Then, enjoy the ads. It seems that free apps are full of ads. Have you ever payed attention to it? You download a free app and you are happy. Because it is free. Actually not. I thinks it works as such: You think that you are not paying the app, but Yes, you pay the ad indirectly. Comments on the article "This Is Generation Flux"
"I don't have a plan. If you look too far out in the future, you waste your time." says one of the authors. I agree with the author and would say the same. I don’t have a plan either. I have my own wishes for the future, but planning has always been one of my weaknesses. And personally for me, planning is good but good adaptation is better. If you plan something and you follow it, it’s good but don’t miss novelties, that is to say, new changes.
“The whole world of business is now in a constant state of agile development.” Whether you want or not you have to develop yourself constantly and be updated. Otherwise you will be useless both to yourself and to the business world.
This article shows how different people embraced different changes and at various jobs. The most important is that they all followed innovation and adapted themselves to changes.
I consider myself as a very adaptable person. Otherwise I wouldn’t be in France today. I never planned to be here. I just followed what I had to follow and simply adapted myself to whatever the change was. I don’t know what I will be doing in two years, the only thing I know is that I have multiple competences and I won’t stay in one job. I will follow innovation and accept changes. It’s always been my case, changing career. I used to be a teacher, a surveyor, a salesperson, an interpreter, an assistant, a consultant, a singer, an actor and now receptionist.
“Flexibility of skills leads to flexibility of options. To see what you can't see coming, you've got to embrace larger principles.” That’s absolutely true. You should never stop developing your skills. Don’t take pauses in learning. There are new jobs coming with new opportunities which are yet unknown. We have to prepare ourselves to what we don’t know. Today I also can say "I'm a collection of many things. I'm not one thing” as Raina Kumra, one of the authors of the article would say. And I am so proud of being such.

The 'record-breaking' response to Steve Jobs' death: By the numbers
As I like statistical numbers I find this article interesting.
When steve Jobs died almost the whole world talked about it at lest thought of it. Can you imagine that 10.000 people per second were tweeting about his death the same day. According to The Economic Times it's the biggest online reaction to any event in recent history.
8.868 Tweets per second were registered when Beyonce announced her pregnancy during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards performance. It was a previous record.

iPad survives 100.000 feet fall
How many of you have an iPad or an iPhone with cases that protect your device from damages? And do you believe that these cases protect them seriously?
Personnally, I rely on cases. I have an iPhone and I dropped it several times and it is not damaged thanks to the plastic case. So we can say that cases are reliable, but then it highly depends on the quality of the case.
Have you ever heard about G-Form cases or portfolios? It is really something increadible. They tested if the G-Forms can protect iPads. The iPad falls down from some 100.000 feet and is not broken and continues working. Another way of marketing for both brands. Click for link

Key Achievements in This Class
Before this class I always thought that I was good at digital staff. I quickly realized that I knew not a lot about it. My perception about digital was in some respect differerent.
I got more than I was expecting in this class. I understood the role of digital marketing for business in general and specifically for hotel industry. I discovered a wide range of digital products and tools. I found out that I was completely ignoring on web pages some details which are actually important. Thanks to this class I know how to use correctly the google search engine, to embed files and videos. Now I can be proud of the fact that I can use Prezi, create a blog, post different information on my own blog, use issuu, create slideshare etc.
In the nearest future, I am sure that all what I learned from this class will help me to succeed in my professional and personal life.

Cartier is one of the luxury brands who is doing well in digital marketing. Its website welcomes you with a piece of music and photos. The website is frequently updated. You can find all information from its history to coming events, from old tonew models. If you don't know what to choose as a gift for someone, you can do it directly on the website. You chose the sex, the occasion nad it shows you the photos of different products.
From its website you can go directly to its facebook page and from facebook to its website and to the Official Cartier Channel for videos. The videos in general talk about love stories.
Cartier has an icredible application "Mon Diamant" for mobiles. Mon Diamont is a personalized application which helps the customer to compose and design a unique ring. You have different models and from these models you can choose the color, the shape and the diamond. You can share your choice directly with your beloved one or family and you can save it for future. The application geolocalizes you and shows the nearest Cartier store.
On Digital IQ Ranking Cartier is on the 44th place with 89 points. The number of fans on facebook is 356,195 which means that there are more and more customer or potential customers who are "digital".

iPad 3
We are all expecting iPad 3 as today we are used to innovations from any brand, especially from Apple.
So, when is the iPad 3 coming? According to the rumours (according to the supply chain in Taiwan) it should come on February 24 of this year. Why February 24? First, it is the birthday of Steve Jobs secondly Apple launches its new products usually on Fridays which is the February 24 this year.
If iPad 3 borns its first shipment may exceed 4 million units which may oblige its employees to take not more than five days off during the holidays.
It is just rumours for the moment, it may come only next year, but why not to have such a beautiful iPad and maybe more performant than iPad 2 this year for Job's birthday. At least this might be one of the ways of marketing campaign for iPad 3.
